As Miss Rutland County 2024, I am excited to focus on my Community Service Initiative, Don't standby, stand UP: Empowering today's youth to become upstanders. I am collaborating with the PACER'S National Bullying Prevention Center as a Champion. My goal is to reach out to as many of today's youth as I can to engage, educate and empower them. I will encourage students to speak up when they see bullying, reach out for help, and be a good friend when someone is being bullied.

Students should not be bystanders anymore but be upstanders. They have the opportunity to have a positive impact on someone's life by speaking out and becoming an upstander.

I am excited to share my personal experience with bullying so that today's youth can understand that they are not alone and that there is light at the end of the tunnel. I survived over 10 years of bullying, and I made it.
